Transportation Week Recognizes
School Buses Efforts to Go Green

DETROIT (May 12, 2008) First officially recognized by the city of Houston in 1953, National Transportation Week gives the country an opportunity to highlight the importance of all forms of transportation whether it be on land, in the air or at sea.

This year’s celebration, which started today, is held in and around Detroit, with a Clean School Buses press conference to be held by NextEnergy. Attendees will view 68 school buses fitted with diesel oxidation catalysts by NextEnergy, Cummins Bridgeway and the Environmental Protection Association to reduce emissions.
