This morning two students, a brother and sister, were struck while crossing the street to reach their bus stop. The little 6-year-old girl was killed and her brother, who is a third grader, is in critical condition. My heart goes out to the family, as I know this must be beyond unbearable. Your children are everything. They bring out the best in you and fill your life with things you never knew you were missing.
