Pennsylvania Checks in with FBI Fingerprint Checks |

The Pennsylvania School Bus Association (PBSA) tackled background checks in its latest installment of The Pennsylvania School Bus Report. Currently, contractors are not supplied with an official background record, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Education, leaving them with an incomplete driver records. PBSA representatives said they were working to fix the situation by communicating with school districts contractors and the DOE. Members were also provided a list of procedures from contractor W. L. Roenigk. The association also planned to send a letter to all district members explaining the procedures to use and outlining districts’ specific responsibilities concerning the applications.
