PSBA Changes Safe Driver Awards Program |

For over 25 years, the Pennsylvania School Bus Association has awarded drivers whose safety records extend a minimum of five years. Past awards were presented to recipients from across the state at an annual luncheon. But a decline in attendees over the past few years, not due to a lack of qualified drivers but because of the cost involved for the drivers to get to the luncheon, led the association to move the ceremony to the local level. Contractors can submit names of their safe drivers for PSBA certificates and pins denoting the number of years of safe driving. The individual contractors can present the award at their own local ceremonies.
