The American School Bus Council is starting to ramp up for its annual love fest by keeping members, and the industry in general, abreast on what they can do to further its efforts to recognize the nation's school bus drivers and provide community outreach.
To help give pupil transporters some facts to back up their opinions, the ASBC is offering a downloadable toolkit that acts as a "How to" guide for the annual Love the Bus event. Included in the kit is a list of reasons why the ASBC needs your help, photos from previous events, the "Love the Bus" logo, as well as participation ideas, like having local businesses sponsor events to honor your district's bus drivers. This year's event is slated for Feb. 14, 2009. ASBC asks that industry professionals interested in holding local activities voice their intentions prior to Dec. 31.
