Call for Nominations: Florida School Bus Operator of the Year PDF Print E-mail

Nominations are now open for the Florida School Bus Operator of the Year. Winners will be selected by the Missing Endangered Persons Information Clearinghouse Advisory Board and awards will be presented on Sept. 13 in Tallahassee.

The nominee must meet the following criteria:

  • The activity warranting nomination must have occured while on duty as a school bus operator in the state of Florida between Jan. 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010; and
  • The activity can be determined to be expectional, extraordinary, outstanding, or heroic, and that such activity resulted in the prevention of a child abduction, or the recovery of a child from a situation of imminent danger

The form is available at www.faptflorida.org under the Missing Children’s Issues link.

All submissions are due by June 1, 2010.
