IMMI announced its facility manager for the company's new manufacturing plant in High Point, N.C., which opens this month to provide nearby Thomas Built Buses with its Safeguard brand of school bus seats.

Steve Bragg will oversee operation at the plant, which is located just two blocks from Thomas. The new IMMI facility will serve as a final assembly plant for the Safeguard FlexSeat and Safeguard Integrated Child Seat. Meanwhile, IMMI's Indiana plant will continue to manufacture school bus seat components and seating modules.

Bragg has been with IMMI for 11 years in plant maintenance, CAPE testing and plant operations.

“From our operation in High Point, we have the ability to work very closely with Thomas to efficiently manage line set, sequencing, planning and product delivery,” said IMMI CEO Larry Gray. “With Steve managing this operation, we have a local connection between IMMI corporate headquarters and Thomas so we can continue building our long term business relationship.”
