SCHENECTADY, N.Y. — Transfinder said that more than 130 clients of the company's school bus routing solutions from 25 states attended the company's first National Client Conference last week, and one attendee won a drawing for airfare to the STN EXPO Conference & Trade Show in Reno. Melissa Smith, a routes specialist for Clear Creek ISD in League City, Texas, took home the prize. STN matched Transfinder's donation with free conference registration and hotel nights. Smith said the Transfinder event, titled "Let's GO!," was her first industry conference experience in her 18-year career. The Transfinder client conference began July 8 and ran through July 10 in Saratoga Springs, N.Y, and included more than 30 classroom and hands-on computer lab sessions. Mike Martin, the executive director of nearby NAPT, keynoted the event. Antonio Civitella, president and CEO of Transfinder, presented the closing session on the company's new Geographic Optimization product – or GO! – the latest in new product features in Routefinder Pro. Civitella said the company is planning on holding it's second National Client Conference in San Antonio next May.
