Seon Design was named the video surveillance industry's leading supplier for the third consecutive time by UK-based independent market analysis firm IMS Research.
Seon was recognized in the biennial report "The World of Mobile Video Surveillance Equipment" for its fleet management and mobile surveillance solutions. IMS Research also found that Seon has achieved more than a third of the school bus market share.
The company was scored high for its hardware, enterprise-level software and wireless systems as well as for its web-based access to live, real-time vehicle data.
“Seon’s premium quality mobile video surveillance products have made Seon the partner of choice of transportation managers across North America,” said Peter Simmons, Seon's director of marketing in a statement. “Seon’s advanced fleet technologies allow transportation managers to address operational issues quickly and efficiently, increasing public safety, reducing risk and saving money.”
Seon's most recent product releases include the web-based vMax Live Plus system, which allows fleet managers to realize the benefits of instant, real-time vehicle reporting; vMax Commander, a scalable software system that simplifies and automates regular tasks, increasing operational efficiency and lowering administration requirements; and the super-tough outdoor CA Wedge camera, which offers durability and versatility in a dust and waterproof housing.
The company was first recognized by IMS Research in the 2007 report and again in 2009 as the mobile video surveillance market leader in the bus and coach industry.
