New York school bus contractor Huntington Coach Corp. received a $50,000 grant last week from Zonar Systems to implement state-of-the-art fleet management products to improve fleet safety, effectiveness, and efficiency.

“This will keep students protected,” said Kevin Clifford, president of Huntington Coach. “Safety is our top priority.
Brendan Clifford, vice president of operations for Huntington Coach, accepted the award at the NSTA annual midwinter event. The company operates more than 900 school buses out of five yards located in Huntington Station, Northport, Bayville and Manhasset.
“Huntington Coach put forth an excellent proposal,” added Carnahan. “Zonar is confident about awarding this grant to a company who runs a high-quality operation with an outstanding reputation.”
