|Texas Student Takes Top Prize in 2012 NAPT School Bus Safety Poster Contest|

NAPT voters selected Cesar Davila, an eighth grader at Manzano Middle School in Brownsville, Texas, as the overall champion of the 2012 School Bus Safety Week Poster Contest.
Voting was held during the NAPT Summit Trade Show in Memphis, Tenn., on Oct. 23 and 24. Davila also won Division III for sixth through eight graders, followed by Mark Jarrell of Mount Zion Middle School in Mount Zion, Ga., and Carly McCloy of Bishop Flaget in Chillicothe, Ohio.

Division I (Grades K-2)
First Place: Shivangi Ojha, second grader at Pirtle School in Belton, Texas
Second Place: Andres Alvarez, kindergartner at Pleasant Valley in Peoria, Ill.
Third Place: Lindsay Mueller, second grader at Linn Public School in Linn, Kan.
Division II (Grades 3-5)
First Place: Regina Gutierrez, fourth grader at Lenox Schools in Baldwin, Colo.
Second Place: Mary Massey, fourth grader at Lafayette Elementary in Clayton, N.C.
Third Place: Jennifer Sieredzki, fourth grader at Riverwood Elementary in Clayton, N.C.
Division IV (Special Needs)
First Place: Kendra Diggs, 12th grader at Surry County High School in Dendron, Va.
Second Place: McKenzie Spong, fifth grader at Liberty Elementary in Port Charlotte, Fla.
Third Place: Andrew Sarles, Sanilac ISD in Sandusky, Mich. (no grade noted)
Division V (CAD)
First Place: Cathryn Phetsomphou, 11th grader at Sherwood High School in Sherwood, Ore.
Second Place: Ronando Moore, seventh grader at Jenkins Middle School in Colorado Springs, Colo.
Third Place: Elizabeth Trail, sixth grader at Manatee School for Arts in Palmetto, Fla.
First Place: Haley Rowe, fourth grader at Sollars Elementary on Misawa USAF Base, Japan
Second Place: Tabitha Smith, fourth grader at Sollars Elementary on Misawa USAF Base, Japan
