AngelTrax announced it has opened a new operations center in Jeffersonville, Ind., located across the Ohio River from Louisville, Ky., to serve as the in-vehicle video surveillance provider's Midwest regional hub for development.
Marketing Director JoBeth Fink was tapped to lead the expanded marketing team. The news comes amid a push by the company to expand into vertical markets of driver behavior management and law enforcement.
“This is a natural next step for AngelTrax,” said AngelTrax President Richie Howard. “We have experienced steady growth in the mobile surveillance industry from our beginning, and our new presence in the Midwest promises new opportunities and incredible potential for the future.”
The new driver safety system for fleets utilizes an advanced algorithm for improved behind-the-wheel behavior management. The company said it will focus on rewarding or correcting driver behavior for increased efficiency. AngelTrax also recently introduced VizuCop, a brand of surveillance systems engineered exclusively for law enforcement that features a ruggedly built, patented front-facing dual camera lens the eliminates the need for manual zooming. AngelTrax said the result are clear license plate capture. The VizuCop 360 also features a tagging pad for marking video footage with the type of incident recorded, an LCD rearview mirror monitor, up to eight HD-quality video and audio channels, and either a solid-state 256GB SATA hard drive or a 128GB SD card.
