Blue Bird has shared more details on its technical training program that is being offered in conjunction with the STN EXPO next month.
As reported in March, the training requires separate registration from the STN EXPO conference and does not include any EXPO curriculum. However, registered attendees of the Blue Bird Training can take part in the EXPO Trade Show on July 29.
Blue Bird trainers, whom the company said train an average of 1,000 technicians per year, will cover electrical, multiplex diagnostics, instrumentation and engine emissions, while representatives from Bendix will cover air disc bakes and ROUSH representatives will cover the ROUSH propane fuel system. The training is open to all service technicians — from school districts and bus companies, to bus dealerships — to further their Blue Bird expertise as well as network with other student transportation experts.
Registration for the Blue Bird Technical Training, which begins July 28 and ends July 30, is $250 per person and covers the cost of service manuals, continental breakfast each morning, EXPO Trade Show admission and the EXPO Networking Extravaganza.
