Rotary Lift is partnering with School Transportation News to provide fleet managers and technicians with the latest information about bus lifts, proper lifting techniques, lift maintenance and shop safety with the free webinar "Lifting Your Vehicles Correctly and Safely" on June 24.

The webinar will be presented by Doug Spiller, Rotary Lift heavy-duty product manager, at 2 p.m. Eastern/11 a.m. Pacific.

"Vehicles, equipment and repair methods are always evolving, so it is worth it to periodically update yourself on the latest information to get the most out of your shop," said Spiller, pictured. "This webcast will bring fleet operators and technicians up to speed on topics ranging from proper lifting techniques and adapter selection to lift maintenance and inspections. These are all important considerations for running an efficient school bus maintenance operation."

Rotary Lift offers a full range of heavy-duty lifts designed to improve school bus shop productivity, including the Mach series of mobile column lifts and MOD series environmentally friendly inground lifts. During the webcast, Spiller will discuss the advantages and disadvantages of these and other lift styles, including two-post, four-post inground scissor and parallelogram lifts. He will also show how Rotary Lift's patented universal saddle adapter for inground lifts can be used to make proper contact with vehicle frames and axles, while speeding up the setup process.

The webcast is expected to last one hour, including a question-and-answer session. Registration is free to watch and listen to this presentation using computer or iOS/Android devices with speakers enabled. Toll charges may apply for users accessing webinar via phone. The Rotary presentation is hosted as part of School Transportation News' School Transportation Network series of webcasts.
