Houston ISD Awarded a Telly for Its ‘School Bus Shuffle’ Safety Video PDF Print E-mail

The school districts’ transportation department was a bronze winner in the 34th annual Telly Awards for its creative efforts with a school bus safety music and dance video that was in honor of National School Bus Safety Week last October.

Wheelchair securement manufacturer Q'Straint has opened a new research center in the UK that includes a simulator and high-speed cameras to study the dynamics of how wheelchair passengers are affected during a crash.

Ohio Senate to Hear Bill Offering Incentives for Natural-Gas Fleets PDF Print E-mail

NHTSA Final Rule Amends FMVSS 111 to Require Rearview Backup Cameras PDF Print E-mail

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration published a final rule to amend FMVSS 111 to require all vehicles weighing less than 10,000 pounds GVWR, including some Type A-1 school buses in that weight category, to be equipped with rear-view cameras by May 1, 2018.
