The U.S. alternative-fuel industries applauded the U.S. House for passing a year-end fiscal package that reinstates the tax incentives for 2012 and 2013. President Obama is expected to quickly sign the bill into law.

South Carolina DOE Gets the Gift of New School Buses PDF Print E-mail

Christmas arrived a couple of days late this year for the South Carolina Department of Education, which received its first delivery of newly purchased school buses on Dec. 27. Dr. Mick Zais, state superintendent of education, said the department would receive 342 new school buses after all deliveries are completed.

Discounted Registration for ACT Expo Attendees Who Register by Dec. 31 PDF Print E-mail

Consulting firm Gladstein, Neandross & Associates announced that time is running out to take advantage of reduced registration fees for its 2013 Alternative Clean Transportation Expo. Attendees must sign up by Dec. 31 to save up to $300 on the ACT Expo, which moved to Washington, D.C., this year to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the U.S. Department of Energy's Clean Cities program.
