Several school districts in California have grounded CNG school buses because the in-vehicle fuel tanks have reached their 15-year lifespan, and the districts are awaiting grant funds to replace them.

U.S. House Amendment Directs NHTSA to Provide $10M to States to Enforce Illegal Passing Laws PDF Print E-mail

The U.S. House of Representatives passed an amendment introduced by Rep. Bruce Braley (D-IA) to the fiscal year 2013 transportation appropriations bill that directs the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to appropriate $10 million of its budget to help states enforce laws that target motorists who illegally pass stopped school buses.

Oman Delegation Visits FirstGroup America, Discusses Road Safety and Management PDF Print E-mail

Two officials with the Oman goverment as well as two local police officers and paid a U.S. government-sponsored visit to the Cincinnati headquarters of FirstGroup America last week to discuss transportation best practices for road safety, management and hiring.
