The STN Webinar Series returned today with presenter Dr. Duane L. Dobbert briefing more than 175 Internet users with a primer on the different psycho-sexual disorders of child predators and how school bus drivers and the districts that employ them can remain vigilant against threats to students.
Radio Engineering Industries sponsored the approximately one-hour presentation entitled "Halting Sexual Predators Using School Bus Surveillance Technology." The Webinar is archived. [Editor's note: Due to technical difficulties, advance your player to minute 3:30 to hear the presentation and to follow along on screen.] Additionally available are Power Point presentations from Dr. Dobbert and from Scott Neal, an engineer with REI, who discussed current and emerging bus surveillance technologies that can help identify sexual predators in the community and especially those who stalk children at bus stops, school and playgrounds. Dr. Dobbert is presenting a four-hour seminar on this topic next month at the STN EXPO in Reno. Nev. |
