NAPT Wraps Up Trade Show, Summit PDF Print E-mail

busformerThe IC Bus "transformer" is on its way home from Louisville, Ky., the "Possibility City," as the last few NAPT members check out and make their final flights or drives home.

 

It was a busy week that was capped off by a two-day trade show filled with some new vendors and many of the same the industry always expects to see. The more than 130 vendors shared everything under the sun that helps schools transport their students throughout the school year.

div3The national poster contest winners were also named, with awards going out to students from Utah, North Carolina, New York and Michigan. Overall and division three winner, Doyoun Park of Sandy, Utah, is a sixth grader at Quail Hallow Elementary.

NAPT also announced its future themes for the national poster contest:

 

  • 2010: Be Aware - Know the Danger Zone!
  • 2011: I See the Driver - The Driver Sees Me!
  • 2012: Stand Back from the Yellow and Black
  • 2013: At my Stop - You Stop!
  • 2014: Be Smart - Be Seen, I wait in a safe place!
