The Migrant and Seasonal Head Start Technical Assistance Center scheduled a conference call for Jan. 21 to discuss several topics designed to address current events and to discuss the role of transportation in an agency’s emergency preparedness plan.

Additionally, the conference call will discuss upcoming curriculum scheduled for the STN EXPO Conference in Reno, July 24-28.

In addition to how to incorporate busing into emergency plans, attendees will share information on the state of transporting infants and toddler and how to best establish a “community of practice” that serves to set national training and operational agendas. The first such session was held last summer at the STN EXPO and grew from a previous Head Start Forum also held during the STN conference.
