cewhiteThis month, "Factory Made," the Discovery Channel's latest TV show that depicts how products are made, will highlight school bus seats by The C.E. White Company.

The show, episode 10, will air on Jan. 13 at 2:30 p.m. In addition to the C.E. White seats, viewers will also learn how hockey sticks, flashlights and insulated windows are manufactured.

Bob Knapp, C.E. White's executive vice president of sales and marketing, said the Discovery Channel contacted the company last year after hearing it was one of the more innovative manufacturers that serves the school bus industry. The tour, which provides a snapshot of the school bus seat manufacturing process, took place over the summer at C.E. White's 63,000 square foot manufacturing facility in New Washington, Ohio.

"I wish it could be more than six, seven minutes long, but at least we were recognized by the Discovery Channel as being an innovative company in the industry, so we're proud of that for sure," said Knapp.
