The Oregon Pupil Transportation Association announced that it launched a redesigned Web site in time for National School Bus Safety Week, which is celebrated nationwide the week of Oct. 18, and the NAPT Summit in Portland later this month.
Known by the acronym OPTA, the association is co-hosting NAPT members for the annual conference, which begins on Oct. 30 and runs through Nov. 4.
“We were looking for a site that really emphasized our bottom line of safety, while it captured the character of pupil transportation in Oregon,” says OPTA President Chris Ellison. “The new site is lively, professional and informative. We’re really excited to put it to use.”
The redesign includes several tools that will make it easy for the organization to update news, events, meeting minutes and other items that routinely require updates. It was also designed specifically to be of greater use for its members.
It was developed by Verb Marketing + PR, of Eugene, Oregon.
