National Express Corporation announced the hires of four executives including the new financial chief and the return of a former employee who will oversee the company's businesses, which includes school bus contractors Durham School Services and Stock Transportation.

John Harvey brings more than 10 years of financial leadership experience to his role of chief financial officer. He is a certified public accountant with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Texas.

Harvey will be based at the corporate headquarters in Warrenville, Ill., along with the Timothy Canavan, the company's new senior vice president of maintenance, and Timothy Walter, senior vice president of safety.

Meanwhile, Kim Worster serves as vice president of Canadian operations in Aurora, Ontario. She has served in various roles throughout the company and was previously chief financial officer of Northstar Passenger Services until it was acquired by Stock Transportation in 2005.

“All four of these executives have a proven track record of successful leadership,” said John Elliott, chief executive officer at National Express Corporation. “Their combined experience and expertise will help us continue to build the finest transportation organization in North America.”
