Safety Vision said it has completely integrated logistics operations and training of sales and service programs tied to the acquisition of ICOP Digital earlier this spring.

Safety Vision, which provides mobile video and fleet automation solutions, closed the purchase of ICOP on March 15. At the time, Safety Vision CEO Bruce Smith said the change in ownership would increase the company's reach into the law enforcement segment with "a robust, proven technology platform and a great customer base." The completion of phase two, according to a company statement, resulted in "overwhelmingly positive" feedback from existing ICOP customers.

"The ICOP product line with its reputation for reliability and Tier I features, combined with Safety Vision’s financial strength, stability and nearly two decades of mobile video experience has been very well received," added Smith.

The latest developments included: logistics and back-office integration; sales, support and service training; establishment of a new Kansas branch office; customer outreach programs via trade shows, conferences and telephone and e-mail communications; and international expansion in EMEA - DDIT (Developed Dimension Information Technology).

“We are extremely pleased with the rapid progress to date as are the existing and new law enforcement customers of the ICOP product line. Every day, ICOP customers are receiving the service, support and products they expect," Smith said. "Due to strong demand, we’re accelerating our manufacturing plans to meet our customers’ needs and exceed their expectations.”

The final phase of integration will include further integration of engineering teams, new marketing campaigns and outreach programs, and further improved and streamlined support services.
