For years, Jean Zimmerman has provided training to special needs transporters nationwide and has authored articles and book on related topics. Today, she is the eighth person in the United States to complete the NAPT Special Needs Transportation Training Program.

School bus drivers and attendants have until the end of the month to respond to a survey  on real-world experience of transporting wheelchair-seated students in school buses.

NAPT announced two more student transporters recently completed the NAPT Special Needs Transportation (SNT) Training, bringing the national total to seven.

The NAPT Special Needs Transportation Training Program continues to grow as the association announced that two more professional recently obtained their endorsement.

Daniel Higbee of Mid City Transit in Middletown, N.Y., became the fifth person nationally to complete the Special Needs Endorsement from NAPT, the association announced.
