Bluth on Special Needs

Dr. Linda Bluth

Dr. Linda Bluth is a nationally recognized humorist, author, speaker, and conference presenter. She specializes in education law, the transportation of special needs children, and the transportation of pre-school children. She currently serves as chief of the Community and Interagency Services Branch with the Maryland State Department of Education's Division of Special Education/Early Intervention Services, after having served as an assistant superintendent of compliance with the Baltimore City Public Schools. Linda has also served as director-at-large on the Board of the National Association of Pupil Transportation (NAPT) and was chairperson of the Special Needs Committee. An advisory board member to the National Conference and Exhibition on Transporting Students with Disabilities, she chaired the Special Needs writing committee for the 14th National Conference on School Transportation.She is a long time member of the STN Conference Faculty. She is also a contributing editor to School Transportation News and author of over 100 articles and publications on special needs transportation, is a nationally recognized advocate of safe transportation for students with disabilities.
