Laidlaw Announces Key Executive Promotions
At Laidlaw International, Douglas A. Carty, formerly Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and Beth Byster Corvino, formerly Senior Vice President and General Counsel, were both named Executive Vice Presidents of the Corporation. In addition to their primary responsibilities as Chief Financial Officer and General Counsel, respectively, they have assumed oversight duties for their respective areas within Education Services. "The appointments of Doug and Beth are an indication of their new responsibilities and reflect the value I place on their experience and advice," said Kevin Benson, President and Chief Executive Officer of Laidlaw International, Inc. and President of Laidlaw Education Services. At Laidlaw Education Services, John Miller, formerly Vice President and Chief Financial Officer and James Switzer, formerly Vice President, Canadian Operations were promoted to Senior Vice Presidents of Laidlaw Education Services.
