Safety Vision Announces Hurricane Katrina Relief Effort

HOUSTON, August 31, 2005 -Local mobile video surveillance provider Safety Vision announces that its Northwest Houston headquarters will be a donation drop-off point for Hurricane Katrina relief items. Safety Vision will distribute the items to local charities, including the Houston Food Bank, targeting refugee assistance. Donations will be accepted Monday through Friday between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m., and Saturdays from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. through September 16, 2005 . Additionally, President/CEO Bruce Smith announced a 100% company match for employee cash donations. According to Mr. Smith, "I don't think any of us realized the massive and widespread devastation to the Gulf Coast from hurricane Katrina. Because of this situation, I feel the most needed asset is money."

Donated funds will benefit the American Red Cross Katrina Relief Fund. Total contributions reached several thousand dollars within hours of Mr. Smith's announcement-and the sum is steadily climbing.
