RICON CORP. ANNOUNCES
ACQUISITION OF TRANSIT CARE, INC.

PANORAMA CITY, Calif. (Sept. 26, 2005) -- RICON Corporation announced today it has signed a definitive agreement to acquire the operations of Transit Care, Inc. of Colton, Calif. Transit Care is the premium "anti-graffiti" window manufacturer in North America. Transit Care's "3 Minute" windows are used on thousands of buses across America as a fast and easy way to combat graffiti vandalism. "Glass Guard" is the aftermarket solution for existing bus fleets looking for a wayto discourage graffiti vandalism to their windows. Transit Care also manufacturers Modesty Panels that can be easily changed if vandalized and provide a convenient place to install value placed advertising.

RICON Corp. will continue to operate the company as an independent division under the Transit Care name.

The Transit Care acquisition is in keeping with RICON's long-term plans to expand as a tier-one supplier to the transit industry. RICON products now include wheelchair lifts and ramps, pneumatic door operator systems and premium "anti-graffiti" window solutions for transit buses.
