DriveCam Ranks 67 on Inc. 500 List of Fastest Growing Private Companies

Three year sales growth of 1,106 percent puts DriveCam in top 100

SAN DIEGO (Oct. 20, 2005) – DriveCam, Inc., a provider of systems that mitigate risk by improving driving behavior, has been named one of the 500 fastest growing, privately held companies in the country by Inc. Magazine. DriveCam ranked number 67 with a growth rate of 1,106 percent over the last three years.

"Recognition in the Inc. 500 validates the hard work of the entire DriveCam team and the value we bring to customers," said DriveCam CEO Bruce Moeller. "DriveCam’s value proposition is readily understood -- the DriveCam system dramatically reduces insurance claims, liabilities, losses due to fraudulent claims, and, most importantly, unsafe driving behaviors, lowering operating costs for fleets. We look forward to building on this success."

Founded in 1998, DriveCam markets risk mitigation systems and services that identify, manage and improve unsafe driving behaviors and document accidents using video and audio recordings in combination with sophisticated analysis software. DriveCam has installed 30,000 systems in 1,200 commercial fleets, including those in public transit, service fleets, school buses, parking shuttles, ambulances, utility fleets and taxis. Customers include ATC, Laidlaw, Time Warner, Ampco System Parking, Staples, and others.

"DriveCam’s growth is just beginning. In 2005 we expect sales to double over 2004 as our systems are being implemented by larger utility and service/delivery fleets," continued Moeller. "Our customers are our biggest advocates, spreading the word within their industries about how DriveCam reduces risk and improves safety. In addition to the ROI, they are excited about the opportunity to make the roads safer for everyone."

The Inc. 500 ranks privately held companies according to year-over-year sales growth from 2001 to 2004. Companies are ranked on cumulative three-year sales growth from 2001 to 2004. Over the years, the Inc. 500 has identified the next generation of world-class companies, with Microsoft, Stonyfield Farms, Timberland, Oracle, The Princeton Review, Morningstar, Jamba Juice, Gateway, E*Trade, Intuit, and Domino’s Pizza all appearing on the list before they became industry powerhouses.
