American International Radio Launches AVL GPS Software

ROLLING MEADOWS, Ill. (March 28, 2006) -- The SafeMobile Division of American International Radio, Inc. (AIR) is launching a fully upgraded and newly designed series of GPS Automatic Vehicle Location tracking units for use within the Student Transportation and Tracking arena. The units are versatile and feature-rich and will be capable of working with all major routing software packages as well as stand-alone when the situation dictates. The units are already approved for use with Edulog's Routing and Planning System to include EduTracker, and the process is underway with other Routing and Planning software vendors.

The New units area all approved in the Sprint Nextel nationwide network service, and are currently being certified by Cingular and T-Mobile GSM network providers, as well as Verizon CDMA network provider. The units are also compatible for all Radio systems giving the customer total flexibility for complete integration into his system as required. The radio version has an improved modem for increased speed, allowing more functionality than previously available, and increased security with complete data handshake on all transmissions.

For quotes and information you may contact us directly or ask your routing software provider for information on the SafeMobile product. In addition, many of the local two-way radio providers nationwide will be offering the Safe Mobile product line. Ask your radio dealer if he is a SafeMobile authorized supplier.  Please contact Vanda Cornea-Toner at (847) 818-1649 ext. 219 or via e-mail at vanda@airadio.net for more information.
