Launched Web Site MobileAwareness.com Brings High-tech Safety Solutions

CLEVELAND (July 1, 2006) - Mobile AwarenessT, a provider of leading-edge transportation safety products, has launched its new, information-based Web site: www.MobileAwareness.com.

The Web site hosts a broad range of safety and security products specifically designed for business use - trucking firms, delivery and service operations, school bus fleets and other businesses with employee drivers - as well as for personal use - parents and caregivers of young children, teen drivers, aging drivers, and others.

Among the high-tech solutions are products geared toward safety in and around motor vehicles (Fleet Tracking Monitors, Transportation Vehicle Camera Systems, Black Box Vehicle Data Loggers, Reverse Backing Sensors, GPS Navigation and Lane Departure Systems), as well as location awareness devices (Child Safety Alarms, Personal Locating Devices, Emergency Safety Kits and Incidence Recorders).

A Cause for Safety
According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) every 12 minutes, someone dies in a motor vehicle crash; every 10 seconds, an injury occurs; and every five seconds, a crash occurs. With more than 7.9 million large trucks and 220 million noncommercial trucks, SUVs and cars on the road today, there are an estimated 2.3 million traffic accidents occur each year. Coupled with the growing dilemma of driver distraction and fatigue, this number is sure to increase. Each year, NHTSA reports that the toll of traffic accidents costs our nation in excess of $230.6 billion.

"Mobile Awareness is about saving lives and helping businesses reduce their risks and operational costs. We are fighting for a worthy cause: ssafety," says Gary Rothstein, president of Mobile Awareness. "We have brought together leading engineers, researchers, government agencies and safety organizations to find cost-effective, practical solutions to some of the leading safety concerns in the transportation industry." Rothstein adds, "Currently we are in design of a proprietary safety device that will help save lives and keep our roads safer for everyone."
