Blue Bird Organization Announcements

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (December 13, 2006) - Blue Bird Corporation is pleased to announce several organizational additions to the Blue Bird leadership team effective January 8, 2007.

Roger Howsmon has been named Senior Vice President of School Bus Sales and Marketing, responsible for directing the sales and marketing activities for all school bus products. Previously, Howsmon was the Executive Vice President of Fleetwood Enterprises, CEO of Sierra Detroit Diesel Allison, General Manager of Peterbilt Motors, and Vice President of Cummins Engine Company.

William "Bill" Cooper has been named Senior Vice President and General Manager. In this position, Cooper will be responsible for the daily operations of all Blue Bird facilities including manufacturing, supply chain, and engineering. Previously, Cooper was the Manufacturing Operations Director for Visteon, Plant Manager for the Ford Motor Company, and Director of Quality for the Ford Motor Powertrain System Division.

Dale Puhrmann will join the Blue Bird Parts and Service Division as Vice President of Parts and Service. Puhrmann will be responsible for the daily operations of the business including the development of parts sales strategies, dealer and customer interface, and general product support. Previously, Puhrmann served as Director of Sales and Marketing for Link Manufacturing, Manager of Customer Support for John Deere, and similar management positions with Caterpillar.
