VersaTrans Solutions, Inc. Participates in Adopt-A-Highway Program
Employees pitch in to keep roadway cleaner.

ALBANY, NY (August 6, 2007) - VersaTrans Solutions, Inc. has joined the more than 2,400 active groups, organizations and individuals that have adopted a highway in New York State. On June 29, 2007 fifteen volunteers spent a sunny afternoon picking up trash and debris along a two-mile stretch on Route 9 in Latham.

"Community service is important to VersaTrans Solutions and its employees. Each employee is offered three hours of paid time off per month to participate in such pursuits," says Cherri Alderdice, Human Resource Manager. "Although we as a company participate in many philanthropic events, Adopt-A-Highway is special because not only is it beneficial to the community, it's giving back to the industry we work in."

Adopt-A-Highway is a two-year commitment, with participants agreeing to a minimum of four pickups per year.

VersaTrans Solutions has an established history of humanitarian activity. Every year, the company donates both time and money to local charities such as Meals on Wheels, Holiday Adopt-A-Family, the United Way and blood drives.
