Flagship Ventures and Ascent Venture Partners Invest $8.5 Million in Everyday Wireless
State-of-the-Art Technology Increases Safety and Efficiency in Pupil Transportation

CONCORD, Mass. (Aug. 29, 2007) --During the first half of 2007, two Massachusetts-based venture capital firms, Flagship Ventures and Ascent Venture Partners, have invested more than $8.5 million in Everyday Wireless, Inc. Everyday Wireless, the leader in technology solutions for pupil transportation, provides school officials with the technology that enables them to improve the safety and efficiency of their school bus fleet operations, including GPS/AVL vehicle tracking and rider attendance systems.

“While other companies have offered off-the-shelf solutions, Everyday Wireless has developed patented GPS solutions that increase the level of safety and service to students, parents, and principals. Innovation and dedication to the pupil transportation market have been the driving forces for Everyday Wireless’ explosive growth,” said Dave Pettine, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Everyday Wireless.

“The investment of these top-tier venture capital firms will enable us to accelerate our growth by increasing our nation-wide sales presence, expanding our product development and engineering staff, as well as increasing our operations and production capacities,” Pettine continued.

Flagship Ventures is an early-stage venture capital firm focused on creating, financing, and building innovative companies in the Life Science and Technology sectors.
