Latest Version of Flagship Product Facilitates Increased Customization

ALBANY, N.Y. – (Oct. 16, 2007) — VersaTrans Solutions recently released version 9.9 of its flagship routing and planning software solution, VersaTrans RP. With this latest version of the application, customers can make routing decisions based on user-defined data, adding greater flexibility to the already powerful routing toolset. “Using this new functionality, customers can now target a subset of students that need to be routed together, even if their school, program, grade, and anchor time is the same as a larger student group,” explains VersaTrans Vice President of Sales, Ted Thien. “This adds tremendous flexibility for our customers. They can make routing decisions based on any data that they currently track.”

Customizable driver directions are also an important enhancement of the release. Customers can now specify what information to include within driver directions and can apply textual formatting to make key information stand out to drivers. A driver directions wizard has been integrated to ensure that the new functionality is easy to use.

A wizard has also been integrated to streamline custom report editing. “Users no longer have to work in a report designer screen to modify their custom reports,” says Thien “That’s a real time saver.”
