Faye Stevens joins Pupil Transportation Safety Institute
Faye Stevens joined the Pupil Transportation Safety Institute on October 10. As Curriculum Development Specialist she will write training materials and articles, give presentations and conduct training sessions.
The Black River resident was Transportation Supervisor for the Indian River Central School District in Philadelphia, NY. Stevens is a certified Master Instructor for the state’s school bus driver instructor (SBDI) program. In July she received the New York Association of Pupil Transportation’s (NYAPT) Art Schock award, which recognizes outstanding leaders and communicators in the pupil transportation industry. For the last three years she chaired the NYS Education Department instructor advisory committee; for the last five years she chaired the NYAPT Special Needs Committee. She also served as president of a NYAPT chapter for seven years. |
