MINNEAPOLIS, Minn (Mar. 5) – Donaldson Company, a leading, worldwide manufacturer of filtration systems and parts, is pleased to introduce a breakthrough filter media, Synteq™ XP, the next generation of the "original" Synteq™ media technology. The "original" Synteq was first used in Donaldson lube, fuel and hydraulic filters to improve filter performance by increasing efficiency. Synteq XP media technology takes filtration performance to the next level by using a resin-free bonding technique to provide characteristics, including:

- Enhanced engine and system component protection
- Lower operating pressure drop
- Longer filter life – 2 to 3 times that of traditional cellulose filter media
- Higher filtration efficiency
- Versatile packaging

Donaldson Engine Systems & Parts will unveil Hydraulic and Crankcase Filtratio Systems that utilize Synteq XP filtration technology at the 2008 ConExpo-Con/Agg Show in Las Vegas in March.
