Forsythe Transportation Anchorage Bus Facility Wins Coveted Award from the State of Alaska ANCHORAGE, Alaska– Forsythe Transportation Inc was recently recognized for operating the best maintained large bus fleet in the State of Alaska. The State’s School Bus Inspection Team made its announcement at the conclusion of the spring 2008 inspection period. By state law, all school bus operations in the state must go through a rigid maintenance inspection twice a year. Forsythe Transportation’s Anchorage Bus Facility won the coveted award after only six months of service for the Anchorage School District. “We are particularly proud of our successful maintenance record as it is the heart of our operation,” said Forsythe Transportation Inc Chief Executive Officer Bill Forsythe. “The safety of the students who ride in our buses every day is our number one priority.” Forsythe Transportation Inc acquired the contracts and assets for the Anchorage School District from FirstStudent in October. The company has been providing school bus transportation services to the Anchorage district and its 50,000 students for the past six months. |
