Safety in Montana
The following is a compilation of the statutes,
rules and regulations governing the school transportation program in the
state of Montana, including the short titles. These provisions are found
in the Montana Code Annotated. Anyone interested in the actual language
or for an interpretation of any reference should call the Department of
Transportation, Traffic Safety Bureau at 406/444/7301, and inquire about
bus safety. For information about funding school transportation call the
Office of Public Instruction at 406/444-3095 and ask for the Transportation
Aid Specialist.
